The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a Treasury Board Crown responsible for emergency communications including Sask911 and SaskAlert, wildfire management, emergency management and fire safety. This centralized agency ensures a single point of contact for communities, greater coordination of provincial resources and contributes to safer communities in our province.
The SPSA is seeking a highly motivated, conscientious, innovative and strategic leader to be the Director, Financial Operations. You will use strong communication skills to provide advice to executives, directors and managers on all aspects of financial planning, management, reporting, controls and analysis. You will be a key player in the development of the Agencys strategic plan and accountability processes. Leading a team of financial personnel, you will develop and monitor financial plans and services, provide direction on acceptable internal control policies and procedures to protect and safeguard assets of the Agency.
