Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the Operations team and oversee operations of several sites throughout Western Canada. This position requires strategic thinking, the ability to drive performance by offering leadership to the Operations Team, working closely with the Project Manager(s) and Site Supervisor(s) to ensuring the successful execution of construction projects, meeting project goals, and maintaining safety and quality. A fundamental requirement for this role is a values alignment with our corporate culture emphasizing to be collaborative, detailed, creative, and understanding.

Education & Experience
5+ years of relevant construction experience with a focus on construction/project management
3+ years in a managerial /supervisor role
PMP designation would be considered and asset

Skillset
Experience with Construct Online would be considered an asset
Proficient with Google suite and Microsoft
Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of construction practices with problem solving capabilities with the ability to make decisions using good judgment; considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate solution
Excellent project management, decision-making and time-management skills
Excellent analytical and organizational skills; the ability to think and plan ahead and manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to plan and see the big picture
Strong attention to detail to develop and maintain organizational systems
Strong communication, negotiation, and change management skills
Possess commitment
