JOB: Transporting and Supervising Children and Families in care of the Ministry of Social Services.

Picking up and transporting clients to various appointments. In and around Regina and rural areas
Job may also entail supervising some family visits at a approved facility

MUST HAVE:
Must live in Regina or within 30 km of Regina
Up to date Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector check
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers license class 5
SGI Drivers Abstract
Own a Vehicle that passes safety check annually
Knowledge of child car seat use and safety
Smart Phone
Must be able to work flexible hours & weekends

ABILITIES & SKILLS:
Ability to problem solve promptly
General knowledge of Saskatchewan roadways & cities
Ability to complete  forms & reports
Time management skills
knowledge of word/Excel and basic emailing
Ability to understand & follow direction & policy & procedures

CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED:
Trustworthy & honest
Ability to communicate with children & adults
Ability to work alone & unsupervised

NOT A REQUIREMENT BUT WOULD BE AN ASSET:
Social Work Degree/knowledge
Certificates or Diplomas in other Social Programs (ie. Youth Care Worker)
Defensive Driving Certificate.
Commercial Drivers License (Class 4)
