This role is a bit of a one person show. It requires someone who is detail oriented, able to handle cash, work comfortably with computers, classify and record numerical data, create hotel reservations and on top of everything, possess a professional, friendly and outgoing demeanor when interacting with guests.
In addition to handling the duties above, the Night Auditor is one of the first points of contact for guests; therefore, is responsible for proactively responding to a wide range of requests and needs as they arise as well as communicating and coordinating actions with other departments within the hotel.
You need to be comfortable working alone, making decisions independently and from time to time jumping in to help guests or departments when they require extra support.
This overnight position is perfect for someone who enjoys working nights and is typically scheduled from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. Friday and Saturday night are the two nights a week we need coverage from our Night Auditor, however there would be potential for a few evening Front Desk shifts as well for those looking for full time hours.
A minimum of 1 year experience is preferred but not essential - we will train the right candidate. Due to the hours associated with this position, a reliable means of transportation is also required.
