Description

We are a growing company in search of people to learn and grow with us.  Our ideal candidate for this position will be a self-motivated, and organized, individual with a good understanding of the concrete finishing process, quality control and all aspects of construction.  We are looking for a candidate with practical experience in concrete form work for footings, foundations, grade beams and flatwork in Saskatoon and area. The right candidate will be able to work independently, but also have the ability to direct and manage others.
Daily Tasks:
    Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement material
    Curing concrete
    Cutting and coring concrete
    Slab installation
    Cut control joints
    Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
    Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
    Good understanding of the construction process and ability to operate equipment;
    Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
    Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
    Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
    Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
    Strip concrete forms
    Utilize laser levelling technology
    Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
    Site leadership experience required.
    Class 1 and Class 3 drivers license is an asset
