Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels, in accordance with local electrical codes and safety standards.
Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan electrical installations.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems in electrical systems and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of electrical systems.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent electrical accidents and hazards.
Ensure that all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Testing and Inspection:
Use a variety of testing equipment to assess the performance and safety of electrical systems.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify potential issues.
Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with clients and provide guidance on electrical system maintenance and safety.
Offer recommendations for energy-efficient upgrades and improvements.
Upgrades and Modifications:
Install or upgrade electrical systems to accommodate additional appliances, equipment, or lighting fixtures.
Implement energy-efficient solutions, such as LED lighting or smart home systems.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
