Shop Services Manager
We are looking for an experienced Shop Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and growth of our Saskatchewan Shops located in Saskatoon and Regina.
Job Responsibilities:
Operations
Oversee the day-to-day operation of Shop Services focusing on Breaker Services, Panel Wiring Services and Fabrication Services
Manage and enforce efficient shop production, workflow, logistics, customer service, and scheduling
Ensure resources, including staff, software and equipment, are effectively scheduled and utilized
Responsible for setting, assessing and reviewing job scheduling and task assignments of Shop Services projects
Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and technical support to Shop Services staff
Ensure Shop Services staff receive all required safety training
Oversee training and skills development of shop technicians
Ensure all staff are aware of, and abide by, company policies, procedures and guidelines
Manage QAQC processes and document/data control
Responsible for recruiting and retaining talented and efficient staff to achieve operational objectives
Provide ongoing performance feedback to individual staff members and assist staff in developing their career paths and development goals
Review project costs and revenues and identify areas requiring improvement
Business Development
Foster positive and productive business relationships with major client representatives
Develop strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
Provide clients with recommendations for possible Shop Services projects or other services
Lead and prepare Shop Services quotations and responses to client RFPs
Lead and participate in project and tender evaluation and develop proposals
Attend client meetings (sales, RFP/tender walk-downs) as required
Ensure comprehensive risk assessment is performed on all Shop Services projects
Represent the Shop Services Department in discussions on client issues
