We are accepting applications for a Permeant Custodial Facility Caretaker.
Hours of work are 8hr shift Monday-Friday . OT eligible
As an oat milling Company, Grain Millers is an Essential Operation supplying customers in the bakery, wholesale and retail markets across Canada, U.S.A. and Worldwide
Duties involve some exterior facility upkeep, including but not limited to, vegetation control and snow removal in assigned areas, particularly areas surrounding the Employee Services Building and Main Office Courtyard and assigned areas. Regular janitorial and/or facility cleaning will also be required. Forklift & skid steer are essential for this position
Responsible for operating various types of powered mobile equipment such as Vegetation control equipment, Snow removal powered equipment, Lift trucks (forklifts), Aerial lift devices (scissor lifts, boom lifts)
All duties will follow strict internal, customer and regulatory body policies and standards. Experience in a food handling facility would be an asset.
The ideal candidates will have no allergies to grain or dust. You must be able to work in an environment that may be physically demanding including working at elevated heights with the ability to lift a minimum of 12 kg. You must be comfortable working in an outside environment with exposure to various temperatures and weather conditions.
