The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement supplies services to the public and other ministries that support efforts to build the economy and make a better life for all Saskatchewan people.

The Information Technology Division (ITD), Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is responsible for setting government wide policies and standards in IT infrastructure, support services, security, telecommunications, and citizen service delivery and oversight of governments IT investments.

Do you have senior business management and financial capital asset management experience? Do you love working with people, problem solving, or have a flare for negotiation involving effective and persuasive communication? This position is for you.  

Reporting to the Director of the Portfolio Management Office, this position is the customer liaison between the Information Technology Division and Senior Ministry Officials. This position is a strategic partner and advisor regarding IT/IM strategic and financial planning and prioritization.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required to be successful in this position would have been obtained through a professional Portfolio or Project Management designation or Business Relationship Management designation from a recognized authority such with Management of Portfolio (MoP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince 2 or equivalent or Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) or equivalent. Working in the public sector and experience in portfolio and project management are considered an asset.
