Description

The Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires teachers at all grade levels to be assigned at all of the regional campus locations across the province which include  La Ronge, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Neilburg, Saskatoon, Kenaston, Yorkton, Moose Jaw, Estavan and Swift Current.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
-student-centred decision making; knowledge of curriculum, current instructional and assessment strategies;
-innovation and creativity to support students achieving learning outcomes in a variety of approaches that fit student needs and interest;
-effective communication with parents on student educational needs and progress;
-effective and efficient time management and organizational abilities;
-flexibility with the capacity to problem solve; motivation to be an adult learner
-strengths in collegiality and collaboration; commitment to work collaboratively with all staff to carry out the mission and vision of the Sask DLC
-communicate clear and effective feedback on student progress; and
Experience with technologies such as Clevr, Moodle, MySchoolSask, and online communication software would be considered an asset.
Experience in student support, online teaching or online program supervision would be considered an asset.
