Job Description:
This position reports to the Assistant Manager and in her absence to the Manager. The position's main focus is on customer sales and service. This includes receiving and pricing product, stocking and merchandising shelves and maintaining store cleanliness. Must be willing to strive for exceptional customer service and be energized by customer interaction.
Education: Grade 12 or GED or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Individual must have the following:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and complete various forms
- Be able to carry out instructions in written and verbal form
- Ability to build relationship with customers, learn new products and maintain knowledge of inventory
- Count money and operate equipment required to process a sale.
- Experience in the lumber industry would be an asset.
