Principal (Full-Time 1.00)

The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority is seeking applications for the position of a
Principal full time (1.00 FTE) at Father Megret High School located at Hatchet Lake, SK.

Immediate Supervisor  Superintendent of Schools

A principal provides ongoing direction and support to all teachers and support staff in the school to maintain safe learning and working conditions and to ensure that the learning program of the Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority is appropriately delivered and monitored. Father Megret High School is a Grade 6 to 12 facility with a student population of approximately 300+ students and a professional and paraprofessional staff of 40+ members.

Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree in Education or equivalent
    Must be eligible for or posses a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
    Ideally a Masters Degree in Education Leadership or equivalent
    Proficiency in the use of computers such as word processing, excel and database systems.
    Related training or experience in the field of education would be a definite asset.
