We currently have an opportunity for a Precision Technology Specialist within the territory of North Battleford and surrounding area. In this role you will ensure Farmers Edge technology is in place and operational by installing equipment and providing field support to growers. Other key responsibilities will include:

Installing and providing maintenance support on Variable Rate equipment and software
Acting as a training specialist to growers to ensure they are confident in their use of the equipment and software
Collecting data from the farm including yield maps, as-applied maps, NERP data
Processing and analyzing relevant on-farm data
Answering grower inquiries on the tech support line and provide troubleshooting advice to growers
Working from home and traveling within the region to meet with growers (when conditions permit)
This role may be a great fit for you if you have:

Experience with farm machinery, basic geographic information systems (GIS), GPS systems, variable rate technology, or mapping software
A history of working with high tech hardware and software, with the proven ability to coach others to use both to maximize effectiveness
Self-motivated with a genuine drive to provide great customer service
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or other relevant combination of education and experience will be considered an asset
