Description

The Rural Municipality of Nipawin No. 487 is currently accepting applications for a full-time experienced grader operator.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  -Operate grader
  -Promote and maintain workplace safety practices at
   all times
  -Other duties as directed by the Foreman from time to
   time
  -Manual labour and construction as required
  -Must be willing to learn the operation of heavy
   equipment

Skills and Abilities
  -Be able to work well unsupervised and be a team
   player
  -Be safety minded
  -Have good interpersonal skills
  -Have strong communication, organization and
   documentation skills
  -Road maintenance knowledge and experience is an
   asset

The successful candidate must:
  -Have first aid, power mobile, ground disturbance
   certificates or be willing to achieve
  -Mechanically inclined
  -Ability to service and maintain equipment

Candidates that posses a Class 1A divers license is considered an asset
