Description

Reporting to the Manager of Health & Safety, the coordinator will support the implementation of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic strategic plan for HS&S. The coordinator will provide campus focused support, consultation, and expertise to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic community in all areas of health & safety and support the implementation and continued evolution of the health and safety framework. The coordinator will be a resource to all faculty, staff and students in the integration of health & safety models into existing operations.

The Health & Safety Coordinator will support HS&S program objectives and contribute to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic enterprise risk management model. The position will support and provide consultation and expertise to faculty and staff in implementing solutions for managing health & safety risks through the provision of local area initiatives and divisional objectives across all operating and academic areas of Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Based in Regina or Moose Jaw, this position reports to the Manager, Health & Safety -South. On a daily basis the coordinator will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clients, internally from local area faculty and staff and externally with industry stakeholders or other post-secondary institutions.
