As a leader in the construction industry located in Regina, we are a General Contracting company specializing in commercial, industrial, design-build and Construction Management.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Project Coordinator to our team.
The Project Coordinator will support our Project Manager team with the organization, maintenance and upkeep of project documents and drawings, as well as bid tenders and work on proposals. This is a fast-paced role, that will offer variety to the successful candidate.
Ideal candidates will be driven, self-starters, and highly organized. The following is a description of the key tasks and responsibilities of the PC. Other tasks and duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
Assist to mitigate all potential risk from the tender to project completion
Understand contract documents including but not limited to; Project Agreement, Trade Contracts, Scopes of work
Implement safety standards on construction sites
Promote positive and accountable construction teams
Assist Superintendents with project specifics and safety
Work within Autodesk BIM360 environment
Develop and maintain construction schedules
Review Shop drawings (submittals) and coordination
Assist in proposal development
Attend construction, design and tender meetings
Provide support to Engineer and PM with estimating and tendering
Oversee and assist with project close-out documents
Must be willing to travel out of town
Qualifications
NSCO or CSO Designation Preferred
Degree or Diploma in an Engineering, Architectural, Construction Management or related technical field
3-5 years of experience with 3 years experience on construction job sites
Experience managing construction projects, preferably in general contracting
Strong comprehension of construction industry
Motivated to further differentiate CCR, as a professional, quality focused construction partner
