Description

As a Final Power Assembler, you are part of the team at PTI that assembles and ensures all units can pass quality assurance inspections prior to being shipped to the customer. You will be required to conduct pressure tests, install parts (kiosk, junction boxes), and prepare units as per customer requirements. You will request quality assurance inspections and prepare transformer units for shipping.

PTI is looking for individuals who have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail. As a Final Power Assembler, you should have the ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions and other technical documents with the ability work as part of a team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Clean the unit to prepare for pressure test and complete the pressure test.
Installation of parts and preparation of unit as per customer requirements.
Identify and verify all required documentation for quality assurance final inspection.
Disassemble unit, remove parts, and prepare for shipping after final inspection is completed.
Review documentation to determine and confirm size and quality of conduit; prepare unit and run conduit.
Performing other duties as allocated.

WHAT IT TAKES

Grade 12 equivalent combined with formal training and/or work experience in related field.
6+ months experience in manufacturing and/or related experience.
Valid Drivers License must be held and maintained for this position.
Previous experience driving a forklift is an asset.
Demonstrated experience working with a variety of hand tools.
Demonstrated attention to detail in own work.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions.
Ability work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
