Job Posting: Assistant Director
Job Description: The successful candidate will ensure the safe supervision of all children and help the Director oversee the operation of the centre. This position requires effective leadership and a positive attitude. Main duties will include but are not limited to:
Administration
Human Resources
Program/Child Development
Family Support
Community Involvement
Board Relations
Child Care
Required Qualifications:
Level 1 in Early Childhood Education
Certificate in First Aid and CPR
Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience working with children of all ages
Strong communication skills, oral and written
Computer Skills
Record keeping and scheduling
Problem solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Management experience
Experience working with a non-profit board of directors
Menu planning
