If you are looking for work-life balance and have a desire to work with a team of people who are dedicated to making a difference in the community, we'd love to hear from you!

The Battlefords Housing Authority provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families, and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter in North Battleford and surrounding area. The Housing Authority has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time TENANT SERVICES COORDINATOR. If you have proven problem-solving skills, work well in a team environment, and have a desire to provide exceptional service to tenants in the community, this position will be of interest to you!

Duties of the position include conducting move-in and move-out inspections, home visits, investigations of lease violations, and participation in hearings held before the Office of Residential Tenancies and liaison with other human service agencies, tenants, families, and other stakeholders to help prospective and existing tenants in accessing resources required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail completing income reviews and calculating rent and adjustments.  Respect for confidentiality, diversity, individual differences and clients including seniors, families, and at-risk individuals. The ability to manage conflict and stressful situations and a certificate, diploma or course work in human services, business administration or a similar field and 2 years of relevant experience OR a combination thereof is required. Experience with JD Edwards software and working knowledge of The Residential Tenancies Act are definite assets.
