Facility: Nurses Alumni Wing
Job Description: The incumbent of this position provides direct clinical services to clients who have a variety of mental health needs.  She/he may be expected to facilitate therapeutic groups as well as participate in inter-agency projects.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Educational Psychology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced communication skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Advanced organizational skills
Advanced presentation skills
Counseling skills
Facilitation skills
Knowledge of the health region and community resources
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

A solid theoretical understanding of best practice models and current research. Ability to work with individuals presenting with complex issues, including co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorder. High degree of comfort in dealing with suicidal ideation, violence and abuse, and histories of trauma. Knowledge of various mental disorders, their etiology, and optimal plans for treatment and intervention. 2 years of directly related clinical counseling experience with clients who have a variety of clinical issues is preferred.  The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potentia
