We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Canadian Financial Administration person that has experience using Sage ACCPAC Accounting, has experience completing all Provincial and Federal reporting requirements including GST, Charities Returns, Corporations Branch, PHAC, S.S., Sask Health, Service Canada, MNS, NAFC, AFCS, Canada Heritage, AMNSIS, New Horizons, and other program funders requirements and can complete these tasks immediately in an efficient way.
This Management position will also complete applications and apply for all new programs and funding opportunities approved by the Board, and will Assist the E.D. and the Finance person with regular accounting of the centre, will be the backup for payroll and other payments in case of emergency, but will be particularly responsible for the creation and maintenance of regular written and financial reports to all the funding agencies on behalf of all 24 programs, to do monthly bank reconciliations, all monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports to around 20 different funding sources, (each with their own reporting requirements and forms) including T4?s, Non- Profit and Registered Charities reports and returns, reconciliation of charitable receipts, of Kikinahk Friendship Centre, for the financial accountability of the Centre, for all payroll, and for all reporting to funders for the various programs (approximately 20) in a timely manner.
University Degree from a Canadian University in Public Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or Education (supplemented by Administration) is required.
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence (Class 5 required, Class 2 preferred)
Preference may be given to applicant's self declaring that they are of Cree or Metis Heritage.
Copy of a valid Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry Check (both negative) must accompany your application.
Wage: is $50,000/year if you have Canadian Credentials or appropriate non-profit experience
