3 Food and Beverage Servers needed by Filosophi Wise Cuisine

Full-time or part-time, year-round (permanent), shift work, including weekends in Saskatoon, SK

Wage: $14 per hour plus gratuity

Starting date: immediately

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer services
- Greet customers and present menus
- Make suggestions based on customer preferences
- Write customers' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, and enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Assist with regular inventory controls

Requirements
- Minimum of 19 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Prior experience is an asset but not required
- Fluent English is a must
- Must be prepared to take and pass an online test, prior to starting work, to obtain Serve it - - Rite certificate allowing you to serve alcoholic beverages
- Possesses basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 3 to 8-hour shift
- Ability to carry a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
- No specific education required
