The Ministry of Highways is seeking a resourceful and innovative individual to fill the position of Senior Design Technician in Prince Albert. This position provides plan preparation, drafting, design, and contract support to the Ministry's Design staff. The successful candidate will assist Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in the preparation of design and contract quantities and plans, earthwork final quantities, and as-built plans.

To qualify for the position you will have knowledge of standard drafting procedures, computer programs such as AutoCAD (obtained through a certificate in AutoCAD from an accredited education institute or equivalent experience), Civil 3D, and RoadEng or similar road engineering software, and standard surveying practices. Candidates must clearly identify in their cover letter or resume where they gained their knowledge and experience.
