Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, the Business Planner oversees the strategic planning process for all things network related. This position works with internal and external teams across eHealth (eHS), Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), and our partners to ensure the services we provide fit with the overall strategic direction and meet or exceed business requirements. This position facilitates the development of strategies, plans, roadmaps and business cases.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning and coordination of long-term organizational vision, including managing all aspects of the planning cycle, feasibility evaluations, analysis, strategic use of human resources, and budget preparation for IT Operations;
-Research and assessment of items such as tools and infrastructure to provide decision support;
-Coordination of project, priorities and deliverables for eHS Network Operations;
-Coordination and support for business process improvement initiatives;
-Coordination of the development and implementation of metrics and KPIs for the department.
Experience & Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have a mix of a strategic mindset, relatable educational background in IT Operations and years of operational experience.
