We have a position to fill for a mature, dependable person.The ideal candidate will be a gentle, tidy, soft spoken, personal care worker who is happy to assist an adult male quadriplegic in his home, community and sometimes with travelling. You will be his arms and legs assisting him to live his best life. You will be working with all the latest technology and equipment making it a safe and inviting work environment.
Two positions available:
1) Friday evening (7:30 PM-10:30 PM), Saturday morning (8 AM - 12 PM), Saturday evening (7:30 PM-10:30 PM), Sunday morning (8 AM - 12 PM)
2) Overnights - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday between the hours of 12:00 AM and 6:30 AM

Duties:
Assist with dressing, undressing, transferring between bed, wheelchair and commode, positioning, personal hygiene, self catheterization, exercise routine using FES cycle and/or standing frame, bowel care routine, CPAP machine/mask, cleaning and tidying and other duties as directed.

7.Previous experience as a personal care attendant an asset.
