Job Description: The incumbent is accountable for the provision, at a senior practitioner level, of direct clinical mental health and addictions services to children, youth, adults and their families. These services will include individual, group and family counseling, case management, and public education/consultations. The incumbent shall function within the practice principles of the Mental Health and Addiction Services program management and is accountable for providing clinical leadership to staff in the Child and Youth area. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatric nurses, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Minimum five years of experience in the area of mental health and addiction services.
Experience with children, youth and families is preferred.
