Description

Meadow Lake Coop is hiring a Human Resource Advisor at our Administration Office in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:
Working closely with the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

You will contribute to providing leadership in Human Resource Advisory Services in a diverse number of areas such as: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Coaching, Performance Management, Training and Development, Investigations, Employee Relations, and Total Rewards;
You will facilitate and present training and informational sessions to both small and large groups;
You will be required to excel in all areas of advising, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, positivity and reliability;
As a brand ambassador, you will model Living the Brand everyday through our Mission Statement and Values of Community, Service, Teamwork and Responsibility;
You will ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulation;
You will participate in policy reviews and update work documents;
You will provide support for succession planning for the Meadow Lake Co-op;
You will provide support for compensation & benefits, health & safety, employee wellness, attendance management, diversity & inclusion and job profile maintenance;
You are required to have knowledge of Saskatchewan Employment Standards;
You will be required to run reports and meet deadlines;
Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are passionate about a career in the Human Resources and:
You have completed a bachelor or diploma in Human Resources or Business-related field;
You have 1-3 years of experience in providing advisory services in the areas of Human Resources, Total Rewards or related areas;
A CPHR designation or relevant experience would be an asset.
