Open Door Playcare inc. is currently accepting applications for full time members to join our team to deliver early learning through play-based experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschool and school aged children. Preference will be given to candidates who possess Early Childhood Education I, II or III, or who are willing to take the 3 classes required to gain your ECE 1 Certification, have or be able to acquire Standard First Aid/CPR, and produce a Criminal Record Check.
The right candidate will be a strong team player, communicate effectively, collaborate and share ideas,
as well as be a self starter and work well independently. You are confident in carrying out programming, can engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing developmentally appropriate activities that encourage children to learn through play. You can demonstrate flexibility within the childcare setting and assist in light housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the Centre.
