Job Summary:
This position reports to the Manager/Rehab Coordinator and is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in outpatient setting.  Staff Therapists have the knowledge to assess and treat patients but may require some professional mentoring/guidance from peers and Senior Therapists.  Therapist may be responsible for the supervision of students.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum requirement is a baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from a program which is recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.  Must be licensed by the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Experience:
Experience in the treatment of post-surgical orthopedic conditions is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Additional training in the treatment of various
musculoskeletal conditions is of value.

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
