In this position you will be responsible for the preparation of food items in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. Our ideal candidate has experience working in a line or fast paced environment, understands how to follow precise recipes and cooking guidelines, and is comfortable working as part of a team.
Tasks
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
