Facility: La Ronge Health Centre
Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the incumbent is accountable for providing professional pharmacist services in the pharmacy department.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
Legally qualified as a pharmacist, and licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP).
A hospital pharmacy residency or experience is preferred.
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Assisting in appropriate inventory management.
Assisting with maintaining a proper drug distribution system for the safe and efficient administration of medications and maintaining records as required by law.
Providing drug information on request as well as in-service education for all health professionals.
Ensuring that patients received a high level of care through drug use reviews, patient counseling, drug interaction monitoring, and quality assurance audits.
There is little requirement for physical exertion and generally involves a normal office environment.
There is regular computer use.
Some daily walking about the hospital is involved.
There is minor risk of exposure to disease or illness.
Handling of cytotoxic agents in a biological safety cabinet is occasionally necessary.
The position requires concentration for the majority of the day on an ongoing basis, with frequent application of specialized knowledge and skills.
