Working with and in support of the Executive and Artistic Directors, and in consultation with the leadership team, the Director of Communications leads the organization's patron development staff, strategies, initiatives in the areas of marketing, communications, sales, as well as community engagement and outreach.
The Director of Communications will work closely with the Development and Sales teams on implementing and overseeing all marketing and communications strategies and campaigns in support of achieving annual revenue goals of $5 million in addition to the building redevelopment project.
In concert with the Director of Sales and Patron Experience and Director of Development, be responsible for delivering on the theatre's marketing strategies and campaigns in support of achieving $5 million in revenue per year from a wide variety of sources including subscriptions, single tickets, sponsorship, donations, grants, and special events.
This position is responsible for all marketing efforts to cultivate, retain and grow an annual audience of more than 60,000 people on the main stage and second stage. This includes the development and execution of print, radio, online, television, mail and web advertising campaigns; building mail lists, developing content and oversight of distribution of e-communications; and the implementation of marketing plans for all revenue streams including subscription, single ticket, theatre school, major gift and annual donor campaigns.
