Position
Assistant Service Coordinator will assist the Jordans Principle Service Coordinator with the ongoing applications and services for the George Gordon First Nation.
REPORTS TO Jordans Principle Service Coordinator
Qualifications
Completed Grade 12, post secondary preferred Minimum of two years administrative experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office programs Experience in online meeting platforms
Experience supporting meetings Experience supporting Indigenous youth and or community, and an understanding of Indigenous ways of Knowing, Being, Learning and Doing Knowledge and understanding of Jordans Principle Ability to identify, source and access community supports and resources/agencies A Valid class 5 drivers licence, CPIC and/or Vulnerable Sector Check.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Service Coordinator with administrative and financial tasks Assisting families with completing Jordans Principle applications Tracking applications and their current status Scheduling appointments
Contacting families, vendors, or professionals
Maintain records and invoices on file for audit purposes Other related duties as assigned
