Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Must speak Spanish and have good knowledge of the Spanish language spoken and written
Strong knowledge of Latin American food products
Monitor shelves, displays, freezers/coolers and re-stock as required.
Inventory control by maintaining accurate inventory counts
Resolves customer issues and answers questions about Latin products
Balances cash drawers at the beginning and end of shift with honesty and integrity
Handling refunds and discounts
Rectifying any price discrepancies and resolving complaints from clients
Bagging, boxing merchandise for clients
Issuing the correct change due to the client
Using electronic scanners to identify the price of the merchandise
Sanitize door handles, common areas, carts, baskets after every use
Clean and maintain store appearance
Ability to lift 50lbs or more
Must be willing to follow company dress code
Must be available to work flexible schedule that includes mornings, days and evenings
Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish with staff and customers
Other duties as needed
Skills and qualifications:
Ability to multi-task with a high level of energy
Experience operating a point of sale system (cash Register)
Being detail-oriented with basic mathematical skills to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately.
Ability to always focus on the satisfaction of clients
Ability to remain helpful throughout the work shift and develop a courteous approach to customers with friendly and positive attitude
Ability to lift 50lbs or more, walk, stand, and work with other team members to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment
