The Mental Health Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the development, implementation and coordination of a comprehensive mental health community program focused on addressing the effects of residential school inter-generational trauma. This role involves a blend of community-wide initiatives and targeted programming to foster holistic well-being among community members. The coordinator will design, develop and implement a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed mental health program for the First Nation community.
The coordinator must have experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding of the impact of inter-generational trauma. The Mental Health Program Coordinator will contribute to the ongoing healing and well-being of the One Arrow First Nation community. Must be able to pass OAFN Fit for Duty policy; provide a valid driver's license and current CPIC with vulnerable sector check.
A university degree is preferred but an equivalent of education and experience would also be considered.
