- Conduct thorough examinations, gather patient histories, and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to assess both physical and mental health.
- Deliver emergency care and acute care management, demonstrating quick thinking and effective decision-making in urgent situations.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Administer vaccinations to prevent and treat various diseases, contributing to community-wide health initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive women's health services, including delivering babies and offering pre-natal and post-natal care.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met, and also advise patients and their families on healthcare matters, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and accident avoidance.
- Fulfill responsibilities in reporting births, deaths, and communicable diseases to governmental authorities, contributing to public health efforts.
