Care for children in the centre.
Sanitize toys and play equipment.
Discipline children and recommend or initiate other measures to control behavior, such as caring for their own clothing and pickling up toys and books.
Identify signs of emotional or childrens developmental problems and bring them to the attention of parents or guardians.
Observe and monitor childrens play activities.
Keep records on individual children, including daily observations, information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
Communicate with children parents/guardians about daily activities, behaviour related issues
Assist in food preparation and serving refreshments to children
Get snacks ready and set up rooms or furniture for meal and relaxation breaks.
Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting and toilet habits.
Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts and songs.
Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
Dress children and change diapers.
Regulate children rest periods
Perform general administrative tasks, like attendance, editing internal paperwork and also making phone calls.
Provide care for special needs children.
