Wallace Construction has operated locally for 45 years as a family run business, with employees who have been by our side for 15 years+. We are a leader in Southwest Saskatchewan, specializing in a wide variety of commercial, agricultural and residential projects, and are currently looking to fill an immediate opening an experienced Concrete Placer & Finisher to grow with our company.

Qualifications & Duties:
Minimum 5 years experience with concrete finishing & forming (power troweling, brooming, stamping & exposed aggregate)
Knowledge of power and hand tools
Valid drivers license
Construct and check form work
Work with project team to execute the project efficiently and productively
Communicate directly with supervisors
Direct placement of concrete into forms including finishing of concrete as per specifications
Foundation & ICF experience/knowledge preferred
Forming and finishing sidewalks, driveways, decorative flatwork
Forming and finishing curb and gutter
Forming and finishing walls and structures
Installing and tying rebar as required
Expectations:
Must be willing to work long hours during busy seasons
Capable of and willing to perform heavy manual labour
Capable of and willing to work in hot, dusty or cold conditions
Must be a team player, as well as possess the ability to work independently

Salary:
Starting wage is to be determined based on experience, with opportunity for growth
Health and benefits package available after probation

Experience:
Concrete Forming: 2 years (Preferred)
Concrete Finishing: 2 years (Preferred)
