Construction is booming in Saskatoon, and our team is growing to keep up!

We are looking for Individuals who are looking for a new and diverse challenge. If you have experience in glazing, or would like to pursue an apprenticeship, have great verbal and written communication skills, work well with others, are reliable and self-motivated, lets talk!

Tex Klassen is a commercial/ residential Glazing and Fabricating shop, based in Saskatoon. We thrive on the challenges that come with the diversity of our projects, its something that sets us apart from the competition. We work alongside a specialized steel fabrication shop that opens the doors to some unique projects and challenges.
We're always looking for quality glazier's, who want a long term home, and to do work they will be proud of.

Whether you are new to the trade, or a seasoned journeyman, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities include:
    Read and Understand blueprints and specifications
    Measure & layout openings for size and shape
    Measure and cut glass
    Assemble, and install aluminum frames
    Knowledge on how to handle/carry glass properly
    Fabricate and build frames/curtain walls
    Responsible for safety on job sites
    Responsible for tools and materials on site
    Create positive work environment

Qualifications Required:
    All levels of experience needed
    Construction experience is an asset
    Valid Class five (5) drivers license
    Ability to speak, write and read English,
    WHMIS, Aerial Lift and Fall Protection certificates required
    Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
    Must have own tools, safety equipment/gear
    Ability to work at heights
    Ability to work alone or with a team
