Little Minnows Daycare Center is pleased to provide an exciting opportunity to individuals pursing a career in the Early Learning Education sector. Little Minnows Daycare is looking for energetic, caring, educated individuals to teach, guide, and care for our young children in the Wakaw, SK community. Little Minnows is a licensed center through the Ministry of Education, Early Years Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an essential childcare facility in a flourishing community!
Job Description:
- Become part of our team
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children - Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Plan, organize and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy and 12 years.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum ECE Level 1 (or the willingness to work towards)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
