Description

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Fort Qu'Appelle, SK location at Pharmasave #412 Fort Qu'Appelle.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager, and under the supervision of a pharmacist, this position will practice in collaboration with pharmacists to provide the best possible pharmacy services to our patients. The Pharmacy Technician's primary role is to ensure prescriptions are filled correctly. The right medication gets to the patient, related administration, and managed inventory. They will transcribe verbal orders, transfer prescriptions, and check on the technical aspects of the prescription. They will always exercise professional judgment and be able to recognize when the clinical expertise of a pharmacist is required.

--32 to 40 hours per week.
--The store is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
--The usual shifts will fall between these days and times.
--Occasional weekend shifts will be required.

Qualifications & Skills:
--Licenced Pharmacy Technician in the province of Saskatchewan.
--Pharmacy Technician Certificate from a CCAPP-accredited post-secondary institution.
--Previous retail pharmacy experience is an asset.
--Kroll software experience is an asset.
--Due to this position's sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
