Description

We are looking for a Handy person / Dock Lead to join us at our beautiful Twin Falls Lodge location. We are a small team of hardworking, customer focused, fun-loving professionals who take care of our guests, community, environment, assets, ourselves, and each other.
Handy person: You will be responsible for taking care of the property, equipment and assets, proactively and reactively. This includes the main lodge, guest and staff accommodations, docks and boats, shops, fridges and freezers, laundry room, septic tank system, water filtration system, diesel generators, propane for hot water and kitchen, uad, woodchipper, etc. You will be responsible for keeping things looking good and running smoothly.
Dock Lead: You will be responsible for taking care of the dock area. This includes docks, boats, gas shed, and filleting house. You will keep the area clean, organized, and running smoothly. You will be responsible for inventory control and keeping track of guest fish records. Our guides boat in from Stanley Mission First Nation every morning and it is your job to get boats ready in the morning and put away in the evening. You will be at the docks to see guests off in the morning and welcome them back after their day of fishing.
About You: You must be a team player. You identify what needs to be done, you take the initiative. You are customer focused. You take pride in your work. You can handle remote living. You are friendly, optimistic and positive. Your number one priority is safety. You need to be able to drive a boat and a quad and chase the occasional bear away! This is a physically demanding job with long days and irregular hours. You will work several days straight with no days off. You must know how to take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are in a remote location accessible by boat or float plane (from Stanley Mission and Missinipe, SK). Days off, away from the lodge, can be arranged when schedule permits.
