North Shore is seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant, based out of Regina, Sask.
Responsibilities:
Assist in execution of Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 Environmental Site Assessments through to reclamation certification
Assist in completion of reclamation & remediation projects in western Canada
Complete vegetation assessments & weed management activities
Assist with the execution of Detailed Site Assessments
Provide assistance to senior staff, as needed
Qualifications:
0 to 3 years of experience related to remediation, reclamation, or environmental science is an asset
Understanding of upstream oil & gas regulatory requirements is an asset
Vegetation & weed identification is an asset
Willing to travel & be in the field for extended periods of time
Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or related discipline
Eligible to obtain professional designation
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Driver's license
Good physical health & ability to work outdoors
Willing to work within a team environment
Organized & have the ability to multi-tasks
