Quill Creek Bison is in need of Farm Equipment Operator
NOC Code: 84120

Employment Terms:  Permanent - Full Time  

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate and control different kinds of farm equipment including trucks and tractors
2. Run farm equipment to feed livestock
3. Perform regular maintenance on farm equipment and machinery to keep them in good working condition
4. Perform basic repairs on farm machinery and equipment
5. Report and document malfunctions on farm machinery and equipment
6. Clean pens using appropriate farm equipment
7. Rack and bail hay
8. Ensure farm safety and bio security procedures are followed
9. Perform any other farm related duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
1. Completion of secondary education
2. Minimum of one-year related work experience

Working Hours: Workday shall begin at 7:30am and ends at 5:00pm. Working hours will vary according to weather and season (longer hours maybe required); 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with 90-minute break time per day and 1 varied day off.
Wage: $25/hour

Benefits: 15 days paid vacation per year
