Description

The E.D. is responsible for the successful leadership, overall management, administration, and business operations of the two daycare centres.  They are expected to model and demonstrate professionalism and leadership to support a positive work environment. They work closely with the Board of Directors, Bookkeeper, Ministry and Management teams at both locations.
At the board's discretion, this position may have the flexibility to work either full-time or reduced hours with a hybrid remote worksite agreement (within the tri-community) after an initial three month on site orientation.
Duties:
Oversee 2 daycare centres with an active presence at both
Provide oversight, direction and supervision of the Directors and at all levels
Lead administrative, financial, and business operations with a high level of accountability
Review, implement and enforce policies
Work with directors to manage all matters related to human resources, including recruitment/section, payroll and compensation, training and development, performance management, accountability and discipline, employee/labour relations, and workplace safety
Manage all planning and implementation of special projects, including facility maintenance and grant funding initiatives
Participate in monthly staff and board meetings
Required Skills:
Proven management and administrative skills, including financial, HR, and program management

Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, coach and support staff
