Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority North East, is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist for permanent and locum work. The successful candidate will possess a strong team approach and join a collegial group practice of Psychiatrists who enjoy a broad scope of practice including outpatients, acute care and shared call responsibilities.
Candidates must hold certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College).
The Victoria Hospital is a regional hospital with 164 acute care beds including an 8 bed intensive care unit that provides services to a population of 80,000 which includes northern and northeastern Saskatchewan. Dubbed The Gateway to the North, Prince Albert is in close proximity to a multitude of freshwater lakes and woodlands with outdoor activities for every season. Currently, the following specialty services are provided: Obstetrics/Gynecology General Surgery Radiology Psychiatry Ophthalmology Urology General Internal Medicine Anesthesiology Pathology ENT
