PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are looking for a permanent full-time machinist in our Yorkton plant.
We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil and gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.
The machinist will be able to operate CNC and Manual lath, mill and saw independently. The operator will also perform basic maintenance work to all the machines and other related duties.
Duties/Qualifications:
-5 years of experience in operating CNC and manual machines;
-Ability to use measurement tools (example: inch size tape measure, caliper, micrometer, etc.);
-Ability to use power tools (example: die grinder, angle grinder, drill press, regular hand tools, etc.);
-Knowledge of using computers;
-Understand quality control including documentation;
-Conscious of and adhere to safe work practices;
-Team player and self motivated;
-Multi-tasking and good time management skills;
-Good communication skills;
-Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada.
The ideal candidate will also have:
-Journeyman machinist certificate;
-Previous work experience with Robotic assisted manufacturing;
-Previous work experience with ISO quality control environment;
-Previous work experience with fork lift driving would be an asset.
