We are currently looking for a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties for Rosetown Mainline. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Assistant will work primarily in Rosetown, SK and will perform accounts payable, data entry, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Post accounts payable invoices
- Reconcile/Verify accounts payable & make payments
- Contact suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Receive/Post Cheques and credit card payments daily
- Print Customer Statements monthly
- Take requests from & provide information to customers in regards to invoices/statements
- Journal entries & data entry
- Reconciliations
- Administrative duties (mail, report distribution, ect)
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements of the position:
Accounting certificate/diploma or experience in a relevant accounting position
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, planning, prioritizing and organizational skills
