In an environment that supports continuous improvement and under the supervision of a Manager, this employee will provide liaison with Information Systems for Department operations. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will participate in developing short- and long-range plans for their business systems and work processes and technologies. The BSA will coordinate system testing and develop reports of the Departments data, as well as take a lead role in developing and supporting Department specific solutions. As a member of the branch management group, this employee will participate in the development of effective administrative processes, the setting of branch goals and objectives and the development of annual work plans for the branch.
This position will implement training, regular reporting, create standards and offer suggestions to supervisors and managers for operational efficiencies that can be found to further increase the life of the landfill and reduce operational hours at the same time by fully using the capabilities of the software. Landfill lifespan and the cost to collect and dispose of garbage are two main KPIs within the waste stream that this position will be working to ensure we are meeting.
