Facility: Lloydminster Hospital
Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is accountable for providing clinical education, consultation and participation in policy development at the regional level in former Prairie North Health Region.  The CNE will collaborate with Directors, Managers, and Point of Care staff in the assessment of learning needs, delivery of a regional nursing orientation and providing specific education/in-services.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Level C Health Care Provider (HCP) - Heart & Stroke
Registered or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Basic computer skills
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Leadership skills

Required Qualifications Continued:
-Maintains certification and instructor certification for education/training programs identified by the facility or Northwest area as a priority.
-Minimum 5 years nursing experience in a variety of nursing settings within acute and LTC settings.
-Minimum 1 year experience in program design, implementation and evaluation, teaching/counseling, facilitation skills, and leading group activities.

This is a regional position currently based out of Lloydminster. This is a designated field hours position.
